Did you check the wrist pin brgs?
: Have 1850 with 800 hrs on overhaul.Developed knocking sound in the area of first two cylinders.
: When removed oil pan we found metal particles.Some were brass flakes some were rather large metal pieces. Removed piston no wear on sleeves, bearings look good. We checked mains with no evidence of damage. We are stumped where do we go from here? We have no play in camshaft but have not removed it. Need suggestion on where metal pieces might be from. Help!!!!
