Only Gleaner I ever had was a M and it was the biggest POS I ever owned. Bought it at a sale for a good price turned it over in a bridge at the bottom of a big hill when the brakes went out. Had the header off to get through the bridge. Insurance more than paid off the combine and kept the combine, sold the header to a guy in Nebraska and then the combine to a tractor salvage. In wheat it was good but any thing getting close to 100 bushel you couldn't go slow enough to keep from throwing grain over. I can't remember about how good it cleaned, ok I guess. Was always use to the Case combines back then and anything you took through the cylinder they would clean and put in the bin. Back in their day probably the best combine out there was a Case, ran a 600, 660, 960, 1160 and a 1660 and they would cut circles around any other combine out there at the time.
