MN had a number of cab mfgrs since the late 60s. Early ones were noisy boxes with maybe half or three-quarter foam insulation. Very noisy, but kept you out of winter winds. Later ones, Year-Round, Hiniker, (both made in Mankato, MN) and Cozy Cab in Litchfield, MN.....used one inch foam, rubber mounts, typical that all windows and doors were easily removable for summer use without air- it"s just like an open station with a sun roof. Hearing a radio was so-so, especially compared to now. But, where they worth it? Resounding YES! Plowing on a snowy drizzling day, in a Tee shirt vs bundled up? Winter chores with heat? For those of us that grew up with nothing, they were a God send. Today"s cab with out working air, all that glass, with tight doors and windows- miserable.
