Thanks guys - but I"m not communicating well what I have - apologize for that - don"t know all the right lingo. The "lugs" I have are a set (pair) of steel rings with attached lugs that bolt to the rear rubber wheels of a tractor. My grandfather used these on a Ford 9N on our ranch in western Washington State, back in the 1950's. Our ranch is very hilly, and can get quite muddy at times. I remember him referring to them as "tractor lugs". They made a tremendous difference in the traction you had on steep, wet ground. Have talked with a couple of farmers around here that remember this type of thing in use on other farms as well. I've never seen them anywhere else, before or since, but they appear to be commercially made. Have tried to attach a couple of pictures. Not sure I'm doing it right though, so let me know if the pictures don"t come through. Michael
