The K&N filter wont help much, unless you put a bigger exaust, but it will help. A prgrammer isnt going to do much either, since its a gas engine. On my wifes 01 Lesabre, on the last tuneup, I put E3 plugs in it. Based on the bank statements, I noticed she was going a day or two longer between fillups. Not saying they work, but several people have told me they got better milage as well. Unfortunatley we didnt have the car long after that so a real good comparison isnt going to happen. Also headers and true dual exaust will help, as well as undersized pulleys.
