Hey guys,
so I got this item.. actually, I think I have 4 of em.. (item on left, I know the one on the right is just a common "hold down" for a sickle bar)
I have asked everyone, and I get "I don't know, never seen one like it"..
I believe it is supposed to be a hold down.. has SLC-370 stamped on it.. It came in a box full of sections I bought at a auction.. on the box everything came in (display type carton for the sickle sections) it said on the front/sides "Try the new adjustable SIC-L-CLIP" (or something very close to that, I tossed the chewed up box not even thinking..)
From what I can tell, the bolt slots line up pretty close with the conventional clip, has a "step" or "rise" that gos over the sections very similar to conventional.. Has a "plastic like" block on the end of the "clip".. We just can't figure out what the "lever" like deal is, or would do for that matter.. Hopefully the lever deal is visible enough to make it out..
Can anyone tell me for sure what it is, and how it works??

But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
