Used to when it was still NASCAR, but that has been more years ago than I care to think about. Nowdays there is virtually nothing STOCK about any of the NASCAR cars. Now it's just as much about how much money you have backing you as it is about the driver, and a piece of duct tape will change your aerodynamics enough to win or lose the race. Because of all of that and more, I don't think it's fun to watch anymore.
Now give me an old race with Humpy Wheeler, King Richard, Earnhart senior, and any of that old crew. In that race have them driving Super Birds, etc that they built in their back yard shop using whatever parts they could scrounge, cheating any way they could find and get away with.
That was back when putting somebody in the wall would get you an a$$ kicking after the race, and when you had a difference of opinion with some high ranking official and voiced it it didn't cost you a $50,000 fine.
Now that was when racing was really racing and entertaining. Wish it was still that way and maybe I'd regain interest.....
