About 1/2 the NH3 goes on every fall around 'here'. We freeze up hard over a typical winter. Typically not enough time in spring to get it all done. This winter not much frost & not much moisture, we have all been puzzled what to do. A lot of NH3 went on eventually, but not sure it sealed in & attached to anything.
I go for spring application, as my land gets too wet in the spring thaw, don't think much N would be left.
If this close to planting & the soil conditions ar eright, perfect timing to get the N on I would say?
