The evergreens are an overgrown Christmas tree plantation. They were "left go" long before my Dad bought the place in '91. They are old, brittle, diseased, and have a propensity to fall into my hay fields. One stand of spruce is real nice. the pines are scruffy and reverting slowly to deciduious forest. No livestock for now, but I could use a mule to get around. No tellin' how fat I would be if I didn't have to hoof it up and down the hills! It is good exercise.
