Pretty good deal, The HF plow I had, had a broken moldboard too, was welded, both my 110 ford and 101 ford have cracks near the bolts that attach the moldboard. If you look at your photo, the break aligns with the brace, somehow there was a lot of force applied, perhaps the previous owner(s) hit something.
Look at the back moldboard, near the brace:
Ironic, I paid that for a really nice 110 ford 1 bottom and what appears to be a NOS or unused ford subsoiler, paint still on the shank to the bottom with ford letters sill in place, also had the booklets on each. $100 each is a good price, new single bottom without coulters, gauge wheel etc, with smaller landslide is easily $500. Subsoiler is well made, shank is cutting edge not mild steel, well built, better than TSC or similar models. I found a JD LI tractor, wished like heck I had the $900 he wanted for it too, probably the best find I've ever uncovered, pays to answer ads.
Last year I paid $250 for a 2 bottom 101 ford, complete, worn shares, rest looked ok on wear parts, coulters a little loose, like that plow, trip back, still can get parts etc.
