In school I liked rock cuz that was what the cool people were supposed to like. But, I liked the Beach Boys type stuff and early 80's pop/rock. Then I tried country for a while. Listened to "classic" rock for years cuz thats what the guys at work aalways had on in the shop. Actually, All this time, I really like classic country.60's on up. The Possum's my favorite. There are a few, very few new country guys that still sing "country". Bradley Gaskin comes to mind. If you want to hear a good song about the state of country music try "murder on 16th ave" (I think thats what its called).
