OK so you say it was butchered.....where in the constitution or federal law do I find the guide line on just how it is to be sung?
I feel that after 20 years of service and service connected disabilities at 70% I can sing it any way I want to! I earned that right (US Army ret, Armor!)! THE HARD WAY! So did my father, 31 years active, WWII combat wounded vet! As did my father in law, 22 years, Korea, Viet Nam vet, my 2 BIL's with 8 years each active. My oldest son, 5.5 years active AF and my daughter, 6 years Air Guard and her husband 16 years AF and Air Guard.
This guy also served and earned the right to sing it anyway he wants to....unlike that fat actress!
So please don't knock this guy because you may not like me or even may hate me. I have the right to my opinion just as you do. I may not agree with your thoughts but you have the right to them. I respect that right. I helped protect that right. I did not serve to protect the government, I served to protect the Constitution and American people and thier ideas!
That guy sure beat the crap out of the fat lady a few years ago!
