Deluxe series Cockshutts and the Raymond Lowey Styled 500 series Cockshutt's for the 5o's and the 60's repectively. Checkerboard 55 series for the 70's. White 2-135 and 2-155 for the 80's. Massey Harris had some nicely styled stuff in the 40's as did IH (That Lowey guy again!) I might be a little biased for the Lowey styling though with a studebaker Avanti and 3 500 series Cockshutt's! Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
