I'm with Bo. I mow 2.5 acres of lawn, took me 1hr 50mins with my hydro john deere tractor with a 5' cut. Mowed like that for 10 years.
4 years ago bought a JD 757 zero turn, 5' cut. I easliy mow the lawn in 1 hour, if I rush can do 50 mins. Here in the South the mowing season is LONNNNGG. Not sure how many times I mow a year,,, but lets just say I got back many hours.
It was expensive, but the life expectancy is 2,000 hours, 4 years and I'm at 220 hours on the meter, machine runs like new.
