Hey, wanted to bring this back up without hijacking the other one and get it up top for the folks in the classic view rut....
Anyway, I have a suggestion (may or may not fit your situation) and then hope someone will chime in with ideas (pics welcome)...
1st: Why not make it narrower and maybe longer? Size it comfortable to walk around your widest/longest vehicle.
2nd: Think about curbing it and having at least a corner drain to keep mud away from the rest of the area...
3rd: (and this is geared to my situation also and I could use ideas/pics of something that won't break the bank) Think about a mud trap (??) to avoid plugging a drain somewhere down the line.
Our drains all run into a city drain and folks that clog it ain't too popular..... Was thinking of just something like a bathtub (or similiar) buried to catch the sludge before the water drains off then just shovelling out the sludge as needed and putting it back where it came from.
