LOL that kinda sounds like something here. Couple of years ago the lake Lida Home Owners group tried to get our county to pass a law requiring that all farm equipment had to be parked in buildings and well as all crops to include round bales. Seems the city folk when driving out to the weekend lake place thought that all that stuff was an eyesore. They almost got it through by being very quite about it. It got dropped quick when several very angry large farmers told the county that A. they could expect a costly court battle B. they demanded that the law would include winter storage of boat lifts and docks, plus the boats, oh and lawn mowers, wheel barrows, 4 wheelers, snowmobiles and such for even people in town. 6 months later, after our next election with new folks in office, they passed a law protecting farms for those types of laws. So the lake shore group tried getting thier law through at the state level. That didn't get too far as MN passed a right to farm law many years ago now.
