I wondered when the shine would wear off the nursing home for you. I have one that borders the back of my farm. It is as good as any but that still leaves a lot to be desired. The people working there get minimum wage and the owners charge full boat to everyone. BIG PROFITS!!!
I will not be put in one of them places!!! I have made it clear to all of my kids that I want to be left here at home until they need a hole to put me in. You can hire the same type of people that they have in the nursing homes to take care of you at home. The cost is about the same. The difference is that Uncle Sam will not pay for home health care but will pay for nursing home care. I wonder who lobbied for that gem of a rule??? So unless I live to a hundred I have tried to have the assets to provide for myself.
