Why not solve the problem instead of treating the symptoms? Either the engine is more difficult to rotate due to failure of the compression release etc. The starter is weaker. or the battery cables/connections are failing. The ground/chassis return should bolt to the engine block instead of to sheet metal. Are you purchasing the weeny little battery with 180 CCA or a HD battery with 320 CCA ? Is the charging system fully charging the battery? What is the system voltage at rest, slow idle and at fast idle?
