We just discucced this subject at our last coop board meeting.
We have not raised the rent on lp tanks since 1995. We get $25 for a 1000 gallon tank and $13 for a 500 gallon tank per year.
Cost of tanks are going up all the time, almost double what they were in 1995. Cost of labor is up. Cost of trucks are up. Our margin has not risen enough in the last 15 years to off set all these higher costs.
If you were in the business what would you do?
Are you making the same you were in 1995?
Yes there are companies that are trying to gouge you but most of the locals are not.
