Either T-bone or rib-eye is fine with me, but we manage to shoot a couple of deer every fall. Since I retired we do all the cutting ourselves, and have our own little grinder. We don't care much for roasts, so we cut some of that up into steaks, and the backstraps make nice little butterfly steaks. We were told not to saw through any bones as that can make the meat taste bad. We used to eat a lot of beef before we started hunting, the last we bought was Piedmontese, which is the best beef we have ever eaten!
