Massey Update Pt 7 (Videos)

I posted yesterday about how to use my timing light to try and figure the timing out.

I used my phone's flashlight and peered into the timing hole and I can't see any marks on the flywheel at all. This is stopped, at idle or high idle.

I've uploaded two videos, one shows me with the timing light and the other shows the flow of fuel from the sediment bowl assembly to the fuel inlet and out the drain plug of the carburetor.

I also since it was misfiring decided to check the plugs on a whim and despite being in use for a total of an hour on the machine No. 2&3 cylinders had soot on them. 1&4 had a wet look to them.

I have Autolite 386 plugs installed and they are all gapped to the proper .025" I used both my plug gapper and the feeler gauge to hopefully get some where close to being accurate.

Between idling at 450rpm through 1050rpm the tractor seems to run well and will run with out a problem (I had it going for approximately 10 minutes last night.)

If I give it some throttle that's when it seems to misfire and die. As far as I've been able to tell I have a blue/white spark, everything has been gone through to make sure that gapping and points are set appropriately.

If I take the tractor beyond 1100RPMs and especially past 1500RPMs the tractor will start to sputter. I can catch it by lowering the throttle to idle and it seems to catch itself and not die provided. If I attempt to shift into 1-H from 1-L and even with throttle lowered it will sputter out.

There is very little dirt in my gas tank, sediment bowl assembly looks clean. Carburetor has about 4.5 hours since it was re-manufactured.
