I have a 13 hp honda power Excell commercial 3700 psi. It's built to last. If I were looking for another, I would look for honda power. I don't think they would put a cheap pump on a honda. Could be wrong. The newer commercials are rated at 4000 psi. You should be able to almost remove the bark with that pressure and a rotary nozzle.
I have a way to purge all the air and dirt out of the garden hose before I put the water to the pump. Both will damage any pump.
As for cleaning a chicken coop, I would run the other way. Just found out that I have histoplasmosis, a fungal infection in my lungs from chicken poop. Thought I had the flu. Found out I have many tiny spots in both lungs from the infection. It's very difficult to get rid of it too. RUN FOREST RUN, away from chickens. Take all the precautions you can.
