My dad has a deal like thyat going with a local brewer. They put it in barrels and he goes and picks them up every other day or so. Sometimes 2 barrels, sometimes 4. They've increased their production too so there is a LOT of distillers grain.
Another side benefit is that they buy damaged barley from the malt mill. Most is useable (buy entire damaged skids I think) and any bags that are damaged are no good to them. My dad will go and get a full ton of malted barley time to time for the taking. He then will have it put in the ground feed when he gets it made up.
One of the best deals our county ag agent has found for us yet.
