It turned over to 251,000 this week. It has been a fairly decent car and still has quite a bit of life left in it.
The problem is that the trunk mounted brake lights do not work. The high center brake light works fine. The hazard lights work as they should. The left turn signal works as it should. The right signal works if you only move the lever half way to the right position. This has been that way for at least the last year and probably longer.
I pulled out the manual, and studied the wiring diagram. From what I can tell, the problem is probably the turn signal switch. I really hate to replace it if there is something simpler and less expensive to change. So if anyone can think of something else that I haven't thought of, please let me know what else to check.
