Yes anyone with a lick of common sence could add the adblue themselves. On the other hand most Mercedes owners would need help adding washer fluid or checking the engine oil. Heck they have enough money to pay someone to do this anyway.
If you read about it the story hits on the high cost of diesel to gas. When in fact Mercedes is charging $32 for something you can buy from VW for $15 and charging $50 labor on top of that just to pour it in the onboard tank. Then again that should not be a suprise. It is a Mercedes.
