Where are you located? Go to iforgeiron which is a blacksmithing forum. Lots of good and usefull information. Be sure to list your location as they have many members (yes even world wide) and you may have a working smith within 50 miles or less of you. What is your main interest in forging? If you have not figured me out by now Yes I am a member of iforgeiron and am located just east of the 292 I57 exit at Ashkum, Il. At the Central States Thresher show at Pontiac, Il, last fall I found a coal source someshere around Streator, Il or a bit north but do not have the contact info. handy. Armand

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
