Few years ago a guy--from Pakistan, I think---bought out a thriving little rural convenience store just down the road from me. Since that time the store has ceased to thrive, and apparently the jobbers will no longer drop gas for his pumps. The guy was recently arrested (don't know what charge---stupidity is unfortunately neither a felony or misdemeanor) because he was hauling something like 400 gallons of gasoline in his van. He was buying the gas at Walmart, pumping it into some kind of big plastic tank inside his van. He intended to dump it into his station tanks in order to be able to serve the few gas customers he had left. Walmart alerted the authorities.
