It seems like there's a comment about Michigan wild hogs on here every other day. Have the wild hogs become a big problem in MI, or is this just the government trying to take preventative measures to keep them out of the state?
Two counties over from me (over in Wisconsin) they've had them for a decade or more, but they don't seem to be spreading out or anything. I see hunters advertising on craigslist all the time asking farmers if they could please come hunt wild hogs if they see any. It doesn't seem like there's much of a control problem over that way unless a landowner wants there to be. Maybe that's the problem?
