My dad and I (by being the person who worked on it and operated it) owned one. They are awesome. The 1948 we had was setup with a Bucyrus 14foot cable operated blade. It was brutish to run for 8 hours. Ours had a TD20 engine. They will do massive work with massive effort. With the seat off it looks like the steering clutches might be in question. They are 16" diameter with IIRC 15 drive and 16 driven disks. The clutch coil spring takes massive compression to release the snap ring. to take it apart.
