Old Tanker, when I got married, I put my '68 in 'storage' in the barn. Turned in the plates so no license fees. And my regular houshold insurance covered it as it was no longer driveable. Now my youngest is turning 31 and I got it OUT of storage-insurance is $40.00 every 6 months and license is just $14.00 a year. The 'thumbs up' I get when going for a ride are priceless. Just last weekend we were at my Mother-in laws and her neighbor commented on my car. When I told him it was our 'honeymoon car' he just grinned ear to ear. Tanker, this is one car I can fix and it's the ONLY vehicle I've ever owned that has gained in value. I dunno if Dave2 is totally correct in that she may be a 'golddigger', but he shouldn't sell ANYTHING strictly as a money saving venture. When I was a lot younger, an old timer told me in reference to a tractor I wanted "It's not eating anything; I reckon I'll keep it".
