This is a spring to remember. The oats we planted two weeks ago are up and 4 inches tall. Alfalfa is really taking off. Mowed the yard last week and need to again. I planted some sweet corn today so be ready for the weather to take a turn for the worse! I have NOT seen a field planted yet but I here there are some around. Our normal EARLIEST opportunity to plant any real amount of corn would be the 10-15th of April and if we would have wanted to this year we could have all of it allready planted and it has been so warm it would be UP!! Last average freeze here is about April 20th. We will sit and wait for little longer, but it aint easy. bill
