when my brother in lwas dodge durango was stolen out of my barn we called all the local scrap yards and salvage yards and there all told us if someone was going to steel something for scrap they wouldnt take it local they would go as far away as they could because people suspect that you took it local. i would find scrap yards a lot further away and call them.
