: Hello. I've never owned a tractor and am buying : one to do some winter plowing, driveway grading, : brush hogging, and some garden plowing. I've got : it narrowed down to the above models. I was wondering : if anyone has experience with either of these. ie: : reliability, parts expense/availability, etc. : Any help/advice is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance Are you sure you don't want to buy an oil drilling rig Jed? Seriously, I have a 1950 8N and if they have had reasonable care they are very reliable. Parts are less expensive and more available(both new and used) than any other vintage make/model that I'm aware of. Any Ford/New Holland dealer has them. Ankeney Tractor at 515-964-4268 is my dealer of choice for new parts, but there are many others(including this boards sponser). Can't comment on the Fergy. Good Luck, Steve
