HH I am betting you are talking from experience when you say a 12 degree drop thru the radiator.. New KUBOTA small tractors are designed to see about 26 deg drop across the radiator. when we see the corners get stopped up with mud and weed seed things go bad quick. Air FLOW thru the radiator is just as important as the water flow. Some of the olders units as Jan pointed out did not have water pump and just got hot in the top and cool out the bottom.
