I never could see the usefulness of hi capacity pistols. If you just 'may' need a gun, the sight of one usually does the trick. An over and under pocket model is nice, like carrying an extra cellphone or tape measure. If you are in an area with enough danger to need more than 5 or 6 bullets, a carbine or rifle would be barely good enough until you sell out and move away.
