That's a tough one. In my shop over the last year I beefed up two walkers for a guy whose daughter has it. She has had it since she was young and now she is a pretty big gal in college. She loves them two walkers so instead of getting larger weight appropriate ones, I just strengthened her smaller ones. I wanted to add strength while keeping them as light as possible and still collapsible for transport. Then as luck would have it, about a month after that someone backed into one in a parking lot at school. So Dad brought it back to see if it could be repaired. I spent a lot of time and a little material and got it back in perfect repair. Problem for me was handing him the repair bill after he had already spent more then they were worth beefing them up. I adjusted my bill down a little from standard rates but still made a little money on the job.......what to do. I guess the moral to my story is this gal is a very intelligent young woman leading a very productive life in a society.
