Planted corn in garden last Saturday. I knew we were going to have a couple of chilly nights, then warm weather. Well we have had frost the last 2 nights, presently 64 degrees, forecast is for warming trend. Some garden corn a few miles West of me and slightly higher is brown from the frost. Johnson grass on my place is brown. About 20 miles East of me and a little lower in elevation is up 6 inches and didn't seem harmed. Most of this is commercial corn, probably silage. This is in western SC.
