I was wondering if anyone in Georgia,has any peaches that are ready for picking or when they will be ready? My SIL drives truck and he makes a few trips down that way every once in a while. I definately am getting tired of what passes for fruit in this area(Wisc) as they are picked green, and gassed all the way up here, you can really tell the difference,from gassed peaches, to fully ripened Georgian peaches.The ones in the can work,but nothing like biting into a peach and having juice run down your chin.Our peaches, you bite into them and lose 4 teeth,and your mouth dries up,you can't even prime yourself to spit.LOL Regards, LOU
