For starters, we don't do no till. The moldboard is still king around here, even for lots of bigger operations. Lots of guys chisel plow too, but in our soil nothing beats the moldboard and even the big guys have one.
We've been using this technique for quite a while and it often gives us our tallest & nicest corn. This year we're gonna have atleast 1/2 our corn in after 1st crop.
