posted awhile ago about a good supply of gel batteries (12v 24 AH).... Got a few and have them on fence chargers with real good luck. Gave some to the neighbor kid that works on my stuff. He put 4 in series and taped them together with duct tape (he's a little necky too) and has them in 3 tractors and is tickled to death..... He was using one battery and swapping between them.... His dad set up a small solar panel and is using some to light (with LED's a little workshop that he was just running an extension cord to.....
When carrying them, one was cracked and had a little jelly on it...
In case anyone is wondering... we can save mythbusters the trouble.... That gel likes nice shirts and jeans just as well as the liquid acid out of a normal battery :roll:
