He's Brangus and by nature are docile. Have had the breed for 30 years and never had a bad one.....now if you mess with a mother's calf better be paying attention and at the very least keep the calf between you and mom.
One day, early afternoon, a couple of calves were taking a siesta. Mom happened to be close by. I touched the calf with my toe as I couldn't tell the little sucker was alive.
Mom promptly backed me down into the pool to about knee deep and gave me that "don't you touch my baby" look.
