Skip, Best Dog there is Period! I have only had Blues! I just had to put my last one down in between Christmas and New Years. Pepper was about 15 yrs old He could finish your sentences for you!, When they old they get Codgety (don't like a lot of going on, noise) the cats will torque him of more than when he was younger. This last one is #3 since 1984 all three have made 14+YRS With some training they will get along with cats not all hate cats thought many do. I Suspect that comes from the Dingo in their lineage! My first Heeler (Doc) Was probably hauled in the neighborhood of 150000 K miles in his lifetime all that in the back of my pickup. I would pull through the Dairy Queen and order a Ice cream cone for Doc and have the girl pitch it into the back of the Pickup! Most any time I was in Town! I will never own another kind of dog! Keep them on a string for the first yr and thy will never leave your side Later, John A.
