I have a question for you all. My 135 has been acting odd this week.
On Monday, it would start and about after a minute or two sputter out. Drained the gas out and checked the sediment bowl to see if it was obstructed, it was clean.
Yesterday, I poured gas back into it and it worked, well like normal. But this is what "normal" has been: I can start up the tractor, and it seems to idle okay but when you start to drive the tractor it periodically wants to misfire.
But I don't lose power unless I go into the high range.
I replaced the manifold gasket last week and it runs better than when it did before - apparently judging from the gasket the Exhaust gases had been leeching out between the intake/exhaust ports. I put new prevailing torque nuts and lock nuts to help keep everything in place.
The video URL shows me driving the tractor around the back of the house yesterday afternoon. When I shot the video the tractor had been running for about 10 minute and ran for about an hour yesterday. For the most part it idles well, but likes to misfire/pop periodically when using it in gear. I got it in 1-H last week taking it back to the barn but the popping is more frequent in that gear.
Usually when I put it in High Range, it likes to sputter out like it's starving for gas. There is a slight oil leak coming from where the governor is located if that's useful in the diagnosis.

Unless you are from another planet, physically or otherwise, I don’t think our internal combustion buddies will talk and tell us their problems. But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
