I worked on the tractor the other night and took off the battery cables and cleaned those up. I cleaned up the push button switch and the wire that runs to the starter. I put the fully charged battery in the tractor and hooked everything back up and still got nothing from the starter. I then went and used some jumper cables to bypass the switch and hooked them up to the post on the push bottom switch and the starter post and the engine turned over fine. It is looking like the switch is bad. By doing that I was able to get the tractor to run. She runs pretty good, but then died because of being out of fuel. I put some more back in there but it is looking like I’m not getting any fuel to the carb. There are two shut off valves on the tractor, one at the fuel bowl and the other right as the fuel line is going into the carb. I suspect that there is junk in the tank not allowing it to flow right, so that’s the next thing to clean up. I as well took off the oil air bath cleaner as it was full of grass and mud daubers nests. So here’s the update and I will let you all know more when I get her running right!
