My name is Harold Durham and I live in MD. I'm retired from the Federal Government. Its called Aberdeen Proving Ground and I went there shortly after high school in 1951. In 1953 I was drafted into the Army and I got married. I was rehired as a returning vet in 1955.
We tested all the vehicles used over the years by the Army. If the Army used it we tested it except for clothing. We ran drawbar and cooling tests. We also installed the instrumentation on each vehicle before testing. I worked there 41 years and that doesn't include my Army service. I use to buy used Troy Bilt tillers that needed work. I think I had over 30 of them over the years. I still have one that was in sad shape, but with a new 10hp engine, tines and seals it runs like new. I also bought a few farm tractors. A Farmall A, Super C and a Cub last year. Still married to the same woman and we have a daughter that turns 58 next month and she was born at Ft Bragg NC when I was with 82nd Airborne. Hal plus a paint job
