Grew up dairy farming,studied eletricity and electronics at penn state,worked at that for a while,went back to farming.Were milking 44 in the early 60's , started dirt biz in the late 60's while still farming,sold cows in 74,continued dirt biz while starting repair biz,about stopped dirt in 80 and been fixing things since, have repair shop and both automotive machine and straight machine shop and do quite a lot of o/a cast iron welding,setting up a new weld shop now.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
