The good thing is that you should be able to get shoes for it out of Shoup or some other mail order place. That way you won't be seen hang'n out at the JD dealer. I got caught in a bind one time and had to go get some parts for my 6 row 7000 at the local green dealer once. After the kid rolled his eyes and said "I think those are still in the computer but if not we might have a book around here some where" I make sure to keep a box full of chains, close'n wheels, ect at the house from sourses other than the local green outlet store.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
