Larry J. is the owner of an old Case. He has a granddaughter who is talented enough to be in a national contest called Google Doodle. Janae M. is in the 6th grade and has won the Michigan contest for this age group (6th and 7th graders) and would like you to vote for her in the national contest. Her work of art is entitled "The Welcoming Future" and her grandpa (a buddy of mine) would be delighted to see her win. This is a large family of 10 kids and the dad has finally gotten a job after 3 years of under and unemployment. He never gave up and he now has a good job, but you all know it takes a long time to recover from financial disaster like that. Thank you all very much. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
