I am in KY and and went to atlanta to look at and buy a '69 chevy 4x4. Paid guy, got title, filled out serious bill-of-sale stating he agreed to hold truck and put in on shipping trailer. No problems with shipping company at all. Was only like $385 and they ended up picking it up that night and I had it the next day.
I would be very nervous however about just sending money to another state, don't think I could do it. that is why I drove to atlanta to see and drive the truck and meet the guy...good luck
