I have been enjoying watching the videos of Steam engine shows. Some of the remarks really bother me. yes it was dangerouse work with long open belts, rotating open shafts. I worked around these machines at a very young age.(6-7 yrs old)respect for machiner was instilled in your mind at a very young age as you worked with your father an other. Today's Featured Article - Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
